Engineering – Technical Consulting & Concept Development

MIVISiO provides comprehensive support in all phases of technical challenges – from developing new solutions and optimizing existing systems to verifying and validating results. Our customers can choose between complete project handling from a single source or targeted individual services. This creates customized, economically viable concepts precisely tailored to specific requirements.

Design

We transform concepts into precise 2D drawings and 3D models using state-of-the-art CAD technologies. From parametric modeling and surface and solid design to assemblies and detailed constructions, we develop solutions that are both functionally convincing and manufacturable. Thanks to our engineering expertise, we create practical designs that integrate seamlessly into the entire development and production process and ensure efficient implementation up to series production.

Reverse Engineering

We reconstruct precision parts using CAD-based reverse engineering with accuracy down to the thousandth – reliable, traceable, and fully documented. Using modern 3D scanners, digital measurement technology, and surface reconstruction, we generate precise 3D models and detailed technical drawings. This enables the reproduction, modification, or optimization of components without existing design data for new manufacturing processes. The results are not only precise but also audit-proof and seamlessly integrable into existing development and production processes.

3D Scanning

We capture components in detail and with high precision using state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology. Both handheld scanners for flexible applications and automated or stationary scanners for high-resolution results are used. The resulting 3D point clouds and mesh models form the basis for reverse engineering, dimensional comparisons, and quality assurance. This allows even complex freeform geometries to be reproduced accurately, deviations from CAD drawings to be visualized precisely, and components to be digitally and audit-proof documented.

3D Printing

We use advanced 3D printing technologies to manufacture functional prototypes and small series quickly, flexibly, and economically. Depending on requirements, various processes such as SLA (stereolithography), SLS (selective laser sintering), FDM (fused deposition modeling), and innovative metal 3D printing are used. Metal 3D printing, in particular, opens up entirely new possibilities for highly durable components that are difficult or impossible to achieve using conventional manufacturing methods. Prototypes can be produced in the shortest time, enabling early validation, real testing, and immediate optimization. This creates efficient, future-oriented product development and significantly shortens the path from idea to series production.

Precision Parts

High-end CNC manufacturing: milling, turning, 5-axis machining, and EDM enable complex geometries and tight tolerances. Dimensional accuracy, clean edges, and high-quality surfaces are standard. Production ranges from single parts to series – economical and efficient, starting from a quantity of one. A wide variety of materials are processed, including aluminum, stainless steel, steel, titanium, and engineering plastics. The result is precise and cost-efficient solutions for a wide range of applications and industries.

Toolmaking

We develop innovative complete tools – with particular expertise in injection molding and stamping tools, as well as other tooling solutions for a wide range of applications. We handle the entire project management process up to series approval. Early sampling and commissioning allow precise evaluation of results and immediate implementation of optimizations. This shortens development times, ensures sustainable series quality, and guarantees a smooth production start. With our experience in precision parts and standard components, we are not only a reliable but also a cost-efficient partner for high-performance tooling solutions across various industries.

Standard Parts

We offer a comprehensive portfolio of high-quality standard and off-the-shelf components for stamping and injection molding, as well as general tool and mechanical engineering. From guide elements and standard parts to die sets and precise fastening components – all parts meet the highest quality standards and ensure reliability and durability in application. Clear availability via our online shop enables fast procurement and efficient project execution. This makes the supply of standard parts reliable, economical, and straightforward.
